Channel 4 has announced a series of new music documentaries to be shown over the rest of the year, including December's Rock Night, fronted by Alice Cooper, featuring tales about his life on the road.

Nile Rodgers and Jake Shears will be interviewed in documentary Queer as Pop, about how gay clubs and music have influenced the mainstream scene over the last 40 years. Finally, More 4's Get Folked: The Great Folk Revival features performances from Jake Bugg and Newton Faulkner. Famous gigs including Kylie's Showgirl Tour in London in 2006 and Queen's famous 1986 Wembley gig also make the line-up.
